Concept

Scoping a holistic analytics and data strategy in three phases

Before recommending any specific AI or analytics investment, we work through the same three-phase question set with a client's leadership team: where you stand today, what's worth building, and what it will actually cost.

Three-phase analytics and data strategy process: Analysis and vision, Strategy design, and Strategy planning and investment, each with its own key questions.

How it’s structured

Three phases, each opening with the questions that actually matter at that stage. Analysis & vision asks what the current analytics and data context looks like, and what the business vision needs to become. Strategy design asks which scenarios could close that gap, and which of them are genuinely the most valuable, working through the target data organisation and its conceptual architecture along the way. Strategy planning & investment takes the chosen scenario and asks the harder, more concrete question: what does it mean financially, and how should it actually be planned, staffed and set up.

Where we use it

We bring this into the first strategy conversations with a client, well before any specific tool or platform gets named. It keeps “what should we build” honestly downstream of “what do we actually need”, rather than starting from a vendor’s product and working backwards to a justification. Like the AF Framework, it’s a tool we carry into an engagement to get to a well-reasoned answer faster, not a deliverable sold on its own.

Let's generate value together

Our focus is to build responsible AI implementations, well embedded in your organisation's strategy, with the aim to construct scalable structures for growth.
